Refund & Return Policy

At Auto Decode, we strive to ensure a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing an order.


Returns Eligibility

We offer a 10-day return window from the date you receive your item.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • Original packaging, tags, and accessories must be intact

  • A valid proof of purchase is required


How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at support@autodecode.in within 10 days of delivery.

If your return is approved, we will provide:

  • A return shipping label

  • Instructions for sending the item back

⚠️ Items sent without prior return approval will not be accepted.


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.

  • Report damaged, defective, or incorrect items within 24 hours of delivery

  • Include clear photos/videos to help us evaluate the issue

Claims raised after 24 hours may not be eligible for resolution.


Non-Returnable Items (Important)

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Personalised or special-order products (sourced based on your vehicle details)

  • Items that have been installed, used, or opened

  • Electrical components once opened

  • Hazardous or flammable products (oils, chemicals, additives)

  • Sale items and gift cards

🚫Returns due to incorrect vehicle details provided by the customer (model, variant, engine type, year) are not eligible.

If you’re unsure about fitment, we strongly recommend using our Personalised Order Service before purchasing.


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

To receive a different item:

  1. Request a return (if eligible)

  2. Place a new order separately once the return is approved


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection

  • Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method

  • Refunds are completed within 10 business days

Please note that banks or payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refund.
