Shipping Policy

Auto Decode (“we”, “us”, “our”) ships automotive parts and related products across India. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.


1. Courier Partners & Serviceability

We ship pan-India using multiple third-party courier and logistics service providers.
Courier partner selection is entirely at Auto Decode’s sole discretion and may change without prior notice.

Serviceability is subject to courier availability, operational constraints, and regional restrictions.


2. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 24–48 business hours

  • Dispatch is completed within 1–2 business days after processing

Processing and dispatch timelines are indicative only and do not constitute a delivery guarantee.

Business days exclude Sundays, public holidays, and non-working days.


3. Delivery Timelines (Non-Guaranteed)

Estimated delivery timelines:

  • Metro cities: 3–5 business days

  • Non-metro locations: 5–8 business days

  • Remote or restricted areas: Variable

🚫 Delivery timelines are estimates only. Auto Decode does not guarantee delivery within a specific time frame.
Delays caused by courier operations, weather, strikes, regulatory checks, regional restrictions, or force majeure events are outside our control and do not qualify for refunds, cancellations, or compensation.


4. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout

  • Charges depend on weight, volumetric size, location, and courier selection

  • Free shipping (if applicable) is conditional and subject to change

Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order is dispatched.


5. Order Tracking

Tracking details are shared after dispatch via email/SMS.
Tracking updates are controlled by courier partners and may take up to 24–48 hours to reflect.

Auto Decode is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in tracking updates.


6. Delivery Attempts & RTO (Return to Origin)

Courier partners typically attempt delivery 2–3 times.

Orders may be marked as Return to Origin (RTO) due to:

  • Customer unavailability

  • Incorrect or incomplete address/contact details

  • Refusal to accept delivery

🚫 RTO orders are not eligible for refunds.
Re-shipping will be arranged only after full payment of re-shipping charges.


7. Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete shipping address

  • Ensuring availability to receive the shipment

  • Coordinating with the courier when contacted

Auto Decode bears no liability for failed delivery, delays, or losses resulting from customer-provided errors.


8. Damaged, Opened, or Tampered Shipments

If the package appears damaged, opened, or tampered:

  • Refuse delivery, OR

  • Record a clear unboxing video showing the package, label, and contents

Issues must be reported to support@autodecode.in within 48 hours of delivery.

🚫 Claims without unboxing proof or raised after 48 hours will be automatically rejected.


9. Transfer of Risk

Risk of loss, damage, or theft transfers to the customer immediately upon successful delivery as confirmed by the courier.

Auto Decode is not liable for:

  • Theft after delivery

  • Damage occurring post-delivery

  • Courier mishandling beyond documented proof

  • Delays or losses during transit beyond reasonable control


10. No Cancellation After Dispatch

Once an order is dispatched:

  • Cancellations are not permitted

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Delivery refusal does not qualify as cancellation


11. Force Majeure

Auto Decode shall not be liable for failure or delay in delivery due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, governmental actions, courier disruptions, or system failures.


12. Policy Acceptance

By placing an order on Auto Decode, you:

  • Accept this Shipping Policy in full

  • Acknowledge that delivery timelines are non-guaranteed

  • Waive any claim against Auto Decode for courier-related delays or losses.
