These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy, govern your access to and use of the Services.

Auto Decode deals in vehicle-specific automotive spare parts, service kits, consumables, and accessories.

  • Product images are for reference only

  • Packaging, branding, or appearance may vary

  • Availability, descriptions, and pricing may change without notice

Auto Decode does not warrant that product appearance, performance, or compatibility will meet customer expectations.

SECTION 3 – VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY & CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

Automotive part compatibility depends on exact vehicle details including:

  • Make, model, variant

  • Manufacturing year

  • Engine type / fuel type

  • VIN (where applicable)

You are solely responsible for providing accurate vehicle details.

Auto Decode does not guarantee fitment or compatibility unless explicitly confirmed in writing.

🚫 We are not liable for:

  • Incorrect part selection due to customer-provided information

  • Fitment issues after installation

  • Damage caused by improper installation, handling, or misuse

Parts that are installed, attempted to be installed, used, or opened are not eligible for return or refund.

SECTION 4 – ORDERS & ACCEPTANCE

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

We reserve the right to:

  • Accept or reject any order

  • Cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, verification failures, or suspected misuse

An order is considered accepted only after:

  • Successful payment, and

  • Order confirmation communication

🚫 Orders cannot be cancelled once processed or dispatched.

All purchases are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

SECTION 5 – PERSONALISED / SPECIAL ORDERS

Orders placed based on:

  • Customer-specific vehicle confirmation

  • VIN-based sourcing

  • Special procurement requests

are considered personalised or special orders.

Such orders are:

  • Final

  • Non-cancellable

  • Non-returnable

  • Non-refundable

By placing such orders, you expressly waive any cancellation, return, or refund rights.

SECTION 6 – PRICING & PAYMENTS

  • All prices are displayed in INR

  • Prices may change without notice

  • Taxes, shipping, and handling fees are calculated at checkout unless stated otherwise

You authorize Auto Decode to charge the selected payment method for the full order amount.

Auto Decode is not responsible for:

  • Payment gateway failures

  • Bank delays or transaction errors

SECTION 7 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

Key points:

  • Delivery timelines are indicative only and not guaranteed

  • Courier selection is at Auto Decode’s discretion

  • Risk of loss transfers upon successful delivery confirmation

Auto Decode bears no liability for:

  • Courier delays

  • RTO due to customer unavailability or incorrect details

  • Delivery refusal

  • Post-delivery theft or damage

SECTION 8 – DELIVERY FAILURE, RTO & REFUSAL

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address/contact details

  • Customer unavailability

  • Refusal to accept delivery

the shipment may be marked Return to Origin (RTO).

🚫 RTO orders are not eligible for refunds.
Re-shipping will be arranged only after payment of applicable re-shipping charges.

SECTION 9 – NO PROFESSIONAL OR TECHNICAL ADVICE

Any information provided via website content, chat, email, or phone is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional mechanical or technical advice.

Customers are advised to consult qualified automotive professionals before installation or use.

SECTION 10 – AUTOMOTIVE USAGE RISK DISCLAIMER

Automotive parts are subject to wear, operating conditions, and installation quality.

Auto Decode is not responsible for:

  • Vehicle performance outcomes

  • Mechanical or electrical failures

  • Safety issues arising from incorrect installation or usage

  • Consequential damage to vehicle systems

Use of products is entirely at the customer’s own risk.

SECTION 11 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on the Services—including text, images, videos, logos, designs, and code—is the exclusive property of Auto Decode or its licensors.

Unauthorized copying, reproduction, scraping, or commercial use is prohibited.

Auto Decode is not responsible for:

SECTION 13 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Our store is powered by Shopify; however, all sales are made directly with Auto Decode.

You expressly release Shopify Inc. and its affiliates from all claims related to your purchase, delivery, or use of products.

SECTION 19 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Decode from any claims arising from:

  • Incorrect vehicle details

  • Product misuse

  • Violation of these Terms or applicable laws

SECTION 20 – FORCE MAJEURE

Auto Decode shall not be liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, courier disruptions, governmental actions, or technical failures.

SECTION 21 – TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access without notice for violations or misuse.
Provisions related to liability, indemnification, and IP survive termination.

SECTION 22 – GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.

SECTION 23 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time by posting revisions on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
